The Lucky 7 Fund
Thank you for supporting senior pets!
The Lucky 7 Fund was established to replace our previous fund that benefited only senior dogs. This new fund not only provides veterinary and grooming care of senior dogs, but also senior cats at the Naperville Area Humane Society. This resource also underwrites the adoption fee for qualified owners choosing to adopt a senior dog or cat helping to reduce their length of stay in the shelter.
Senior dogs and cats in our care are classified as any who are 7 years of age or older. We feel that senior dogs and cats are special and deserve to be receive the highest level care possible. They are the lucky ones, and thus The Lucky 7 Fund was created.
While the primary purpose of this fund is to help the senior animals in the care of NAHS, the future use of the fund may also include assisting an owner in need who has senior dog or cat in order to keep them in the home. In addition, the fund may used to assist senior dogs and cats in other circumstances that are in line with NAHS's mission.
We are excited to see the impact of this new fund on senior dogs and cats in our community!
